Delivering More Than Parts, MRP - ERP Systems

10/20/2009

Highly integrated Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems consistently enable Plouse Precision Manufacturing, a full-service contract manufacturer, to facilitate continued service. These systems link critical information that optimize manufacturing processes and shorten turnaround times.

MRP is a software-based production planning and inventory control system used to manage manufacturing processes.

ERP is a company-wide system used to organize and coordinate all of Plouse' resources, information, and functions from shared data stores. The ERP system includes additional functionality that improves the flow of materials and information between our customers, suppliers, and various departments with:
  • Scheduling
  • Advanced Inventory Planning
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
By linking our operations together, we are able to plan what has to be accomplished and when it needs to be finished. The process information flows down to our production facilities as well as any outside resources necessary to produce the parts.

In addition to delivering parts, our highly integrated linked MRP - ERP systems enable us to meet essential business objectives that directly benefit our customers.
  • Raw materials, hardware and purchased products are readily available for production and delivery.
  • The most cost effective, manageable level of inventory is maintained.
  • Manufacturing, delivery schedules and purchasing activities can be easily and efficiently planned.
  • Productivity is improved and costs are reduced.
By controlling the internal operations of our contract manufacturing, we are able to enhance our wide array of seamlessly-integrated client services, from Design Analysis to Precision Inspection and CNC Milling & Turning to Wire EDM.
