Precision Grinding
Plouse uses a variety of precision grinding equipment to manufacture high-precision products. The process of grinding removes material from the work piece by a powered abrasive wheel, stone, belt, paste, sheet, compound, slurry or other agent. By precision grinding a metal part, we are able to remove burrs, deep cuts or saw marks. It also prepares the part for polishing. The most common forms of grinding are surface grinding (produces flat and/or squared surfaces) and cylindrical grinding (used to grind internal and external parts).
